Yes, it's been a while since I told you anything about the music, so here's a little news.
We have a name for the album. After mastering, it was the dreaded next step, and unexpectedly, in a moment of sickness and delirium, while juggling words and phrases and articles and prepositions, a felicitous thing happened: the name announced itself, materializing in grace out of the infinite nothingness of my brain's helter skelter discombobulation.
It was so right, so unassailably perfect that I would brook no argument.
Luckily, my dear partners agreed!
But I will not tell you what it is. Because it's a surprise. Those who have the last album--or a certain stealth single that almost got above-ground in France and Germany--will be really surprised, and confused, and that's all part of the big silly idea.
So even though that actually isn't very big news, the naming issues sure felt like major psychological hurdles. Now we've overcome them both, and if it's boring to you it sure is news to us!
