Cyclocross Worlds
|
|
Hey cycling fans, don't forget that the Cyclocross World Championships are tomorrow in Germany. Belgian Sven Nijs is heavily favored to win, but you never know what will happen. Connoisseurs of the sport will recognize the particular brutality of tomorrow's course. Snow and freezing temperatures are expected tomorrow too so this should be a real epic. Generally, with cross, the worse the conditions, the more fun the whole horrible hour in hell is. That covered section is pretty neat. I don't actually recall seeing anything like that before. I wonder if those are the pits, or just some weird twist designed so the riders can momentarily warm up again. Wish I could be there. Wish those TV cameras broadcast all the way over here. |
