Wow...that was highly unfair.

The breaking news is that my sort of pals Ex Models are going to do a big ass tour with "post rock" demi-legends Tortoise. That's an interesting pair. Should keep both the speed freaks and heroin addicts happy.

I prefer Ex Models myself these days, but Tortoise's odd brand of falling-apart sloth rock meets shattered lounge music might be worth a gander too (I'm basing that assessment on a decidedly dated view of the band; I'm not current...they may have become death metal for all I know...so sue me if I'm wrong!).

Err...except they're not making it to LA. They've got no link at the moment so I'll post the tour dates in the comments. Check it out if you're in the area. Ex Models put on a stunning, intense show.
