I've been hearing the Pixies rumors floating around for ages. Many annoyingly fashionable people I know are getting ready to meet god (for the first time (Ooo! Snark!)).

I think it's neat, but for some reason, I feel absolutely no compulsion to see them, even throwing in Radiohead and arguably the most important group of the three, Kraftwerk.

To the legion of people who will make the pilgrimage to Coachella, have fun. I do not envy you. And please, unlike the last two or three or whatever years, please don't come back insisting that I was stupid not to go and that I missed one of the greatest events in music history.

I went to the Us Festival after all, and if you missed that, well, you missed it all!
