Fans of Chris Marker's La Jetee will probably notice a passing echo of that in this. I don' t know if it was intentional, but there are some reminders of it.

I'm not really feeling the music much--I've gone off Plaid--but the video is neat viewing, even if the narrative and some of the visual motifs feel overly familiar.
