. . .

Right now...

...the greatest song in the world ever is "Here comes a Regular" by The Replacements.

Runner up is "Swingin Party."

Oh fuck it...the whole album is brilliant. Tim owns me.

Thanks Ryan for reminding me.

Hmmm.... Rhapsodizing about the Replacements at 12:24 am.... you hadn't been drinking, had you?

Yikes! Looking at it now in (almost) daylight, I can see how that looks awfully maudlin!

No, strangely, no drinking beyond one Pacifico. But a friend called and we were talking about Westerberg's alias and then the reminiscence flowed, and I'd just found my copy a week before, so there began--and soon thereafter ended--the night.

Are you going to see Tsar on Monday?

Wrong.

Best and most virtously philosophical song EVAR is Modest Mouse -- 3rd Planet.

Fuck, that whole album owns on anything.

You know, I keep hearing about Modest Mouse and I've never knowingly heard them.

I'll have to look into that.

I like the name a lot.

Like clockwork, once every two years Layne & I decide, after 17 hours of heavy drinking, to babble on about how Tim is the greatest album in the history of mankind....

Yeah, I'll be going to Tsar Monday, and I even might have people over for a couple of pre-show Pacificos. Send me an e-mail.
